Today was a day with two long sessions. I first started with a 5100m swim in the pool. Core elements were 5×500m focusing on technique and a couple of 50m sprints.
Directly after swimming I did a long run, basically along the Geneva Lake from Gland to Ecublens where my office is. I could finally take a shower after a 2hrs 10min run. This is the time it took me to get through the 29k course. The first hour was terrible: lots of wind and no real rythm. In the second hour I felt much better and had a very good second half (about 15k per hour).
Now I have two more sessions left for this week
- Tomorrow I´ll go on a relaxed 3hrs bike ride, and
- on Saturday I am planning a long long bike ride with some steep ascents. After biking I add a 1hr run.
After finishing this week, I am looking forward to an easy week next week:)
